Any woman 18 years of age or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove direct descent from a person who aided in achieving American independence during the period between 19 April 1775 and 26 November 1783 is eligible for membership.

Membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) honors and preserves the legacy of our patriot ancestors. Over two hundred years ago, Americans sacrificed their lives and property for the freedoms that we enjoy today.
As a member of the DAR , you can honor their actions by supporting historic preservation programs, promoting education activities, and participating in patriotic endeavors.
